Barkeeper’s Friend
A lot of communication from Barkeeper’s Friend has felt safe and old-school. They wanted to break away from this image and reach an audience who need the super-cleaning power of their products the most: college students. This campaign focuses on the universal truth that dogs love to lick dirty dishes. Sometimes, just sometimes, we let them. We motion for college students to progress past letting their furry friends have all the fun by portraying Barkeeper’s Friend as the superior cleaning companion.
While driving on the highway back to their filthy digs, college students will be reminded of the growing pile of stained pots and pans waiting for them at home.
To catch the eye of students on their way to campus by bus or tram, we placed posters in public transportation hubs, reminding them that Fido can't fix everything.
Mid-doomscroll on Instagram, college kids are prompted to reconsider what clean really means to them.
While flipping through a magazine they picked up waiting for their doctor’s appointment, college students familiarize themselves with the chemistry behind Barkeeper’s Friend.
